Cosabella Convert – Staff Strike Averted!

Jovana, one of the Secrets fitters compares and contrasts in the ultimate battle of thong domination!
“I admit it. When I heard that we were no longer stocking Hanky Panky Low-Rise Lace Thong, I was ready to strike. I have been a fan of this underwear for years now; I love the colours and the lace, but most importantly, I really love the fit and how comfortable they are. I was more than a little skeptical when Jen claimed that she had found a better thong. “Better? Impossible!” I thought, as I drafted the first picketing poster in my head.
Before I had the chance to break out my Bristol boards, the Cosabella Cutie Thong made its way into the store.

Jen offered me the chance to review the “Cutie” thong, (pictured), since I expressed my doubts about it to her numerous times.
Rolled and folded into a sweet little lacy bundle, held together by white ribbon boasting the brand name, the Cosabella Cutie Thong tempered my icy resolve to dislike them. I first tested the thong under jeans, then leggings and finally a skirt. While putting it on I was quick to notice that the band of lace fitting around my hips was wider than Hanky Panky’s and gripped my body quite nicely.

The lace itself is softer, and has more stretch. Another surprise was that the cotton gusset was actually in the right place. As I am blessed with a generous rump, the Hanky Panky thongs (and most other underwear, in fact) have to be pulled up in the back to cover my bum, which subsequently pulls the gusset way out of place. The Cutie Thong is the first underwear that I have tried that is both low rise in the front, and deep enough in the back to sit in the right place on my body!

I was kind of excited at this point. Begrudgingly, I mumbled something to myself about the possibility of Jen being right. The hardest test was yet to come, however, so I refrainded from any hasty conclusions. The bathroom visit: my tight, skinny jeans have to be pulled down and pulled back up – the make-or-break for any undies. The Hanky Panky rolled. It wasn’t ideal, but they had other great things going for them, so I put up with it. I’d have to unravel my thong before putting it back on, as pulling my pants down had twisted it all up; and in reverse, I had to reach in when my pants were on and flatten the lace, as pulling my pants up had the same twisty effect.
Not so with the Cutie thong, my friends, not so! It stayed flat and held onto my hips the whole time. Whoa. That was me then, done as dinner: a Cosabella convert, a Cutie Thong devotee, and the owner of the most comfortable thong on the market.”

Cosabella thongs are also available two more styles and a rainbow of colours! We’ll detail those in a later post…

I guess this is the appropriate place to revel in my RIGHT-ness…I do have to say that over 10 years in the business of wearing, testing and loving underwear I grew away from the thong. I tested the Cosabella myself and loved them instantly. The band, the lace, the gusset and where it was placed but the best part was it was so sexy. It doesn’t cut in! It rests its pretty little self over your body and WOW! I am so happy to have Cosabella. I can’t wait to try the Hottie Hot Pants! -Jen

Do you carry the Never Say Never Hottie Pants by Cosabella? (I’m not really a thong-gal.)

I’m a buyer for a lingerie boutique in New York, and I’ll be in Toronto this weekend so I thought I’d look up a few local lingerie stores while I’m in town. I have to say I so agree with your assessment of Cosabella! We brought in the Cosabella NSN thong almost a year ago, and it’s really phased out all other comparable products… the lace lies flat where other similar products tend to bunch or ripple. It just can’t be beat. Looking forward to stopping in sometime this weekend!
