Historical Hosiery
Hosiery has been a wardrobe staple since Queen Elizabeth I received her first silken pair in 1560. From Madonna’s lace to Dita’s burlesque, time has continued to transform this perfect meeting of function, fashion and femininity. Hosiery is making history again this season by stepping out of the woodwork and into the forefront of fashion. There’s something for everyone – bright colours, fun patterns, retro styling, and artistic laces reminiscent of the most exquisite tattoos.
Our emphasis is on French and Italian quality and design, with great styles from Filidoro, Voila, Omero, Philippe Matignon, Bleu Foret and Transparenze. Not sure how to wear the latest funky styles of hosiery? Try a monochromatic black or grey sweater dress and boot combo with brightly coloured or patterned opaque tights. Wear this season’s mini skirt with a pair of artsy fishnet tights and ballet flats. Add interest and warmth by layering fishnet tights over coloured pantyhose. With so many ways to wear it, everyone can make this hosiery trend their own.

The shy damsel can tame winter drafts and feel confident in a cashmere sweater with Bristol 6 Naturals reusable silicone nipple covers. These are also useful in the summertime when air conditioners get out of control. If you’re a teacher at an all-boys school, better get two pairs!

SIS Bags
SFYS has taken a big step towards going green by removing all disposable bags from our stores! We encourage customers to bring their own reusable bags for shopping or to buy one of our new green bags. Our large bags are durable and can fold up into a tiny square, great for carrying around in your purse for whenever the need strikes you. The bags cost $5 and $1 of each bag sale goes towards our Kiva project.
Tom
Don’t let the name fool you – L’Aventure Tom is totally feminine! This everyday t-shirt bra is lightweight and smooth, rendering it invisible under blouses and sheer tops. It is convertible to halter or cross-back and the strap, which features a funky circle design, can be changed with other straps to add interest to this basic bra. Tom is available in black and beige, sizes 32-36 C-F.
New and coming fashion
Ring in the holiday season with new fashion sets in a colour palate of deep purples, turquoises and blues and the festive reds.
First up is the top-selling Chantelle Icone demi bra, now in cherry red. This staff favourite features a unique tattoo-esque lace. The matching short is one of the most beautiful to ever grace our presence at SFYS. It is a real collector’s piece and a fabulous gift.
If you hate wires but love style then Princesse Tam-Tam Garconne soft cup triangle bras are for you. These are for the smaller cupped dames (32-36 A-C) and they come in basic black and titillating turquoise.
Last season we had a very popular Freya plunge bra called Mischa. She’s back in black with grape floral detailing. Mischa is a great basic – fun, supportive and fresh.
Nobody does pure unadulterated luxury like Pleasure State. Available in black or dusty blue, Monroe wireless deep-plunge triangle bras are made of the most delicate levers lace. They feature a soft satin band along the base with a rhinestone accent right at the centre of the décolletage.

Three Sisters
Sisters are always so fun to work with. You see the similarities, you see the differences, and you see a very wonderful bond between the women.
