Last December the staff here at sfys had a lovely dinner party to celebrate the holidays. We played silly games to win prizes, drank vino and toasted to another successful year. One of these games required everyone at the table to tell something about themselves, including, among other things, if they could pick only one bra as their favourite, what would it be? The overwhelming majority picked Empriente’s Lola. Even gals who don’t fit into Lola. Even after much protesting along the lines of “Ohhh, just OONNNNEE???”  and “but I want to pick one that is basic and one that is fashion!” the staff for the most part decided this was their one-and-only. It’s that lovely! It is truly a “fitters fave”. This bra style is extremely popular among customers too! The luxury and detailing are second to none.

Our winter fashion colour blueberry was a hit! And we are delighted to announce our spring fashion colour has arrived!

Empreinte’s Lola is available for spring in Tilleul! For those of you who don’t know French, tilleul translates to “lime tree”. To us the tone is less key-lime-pie and more pistachio gelato, but the name is lovely either way. The trim details are a lovely pinky-mauve and this combination truly evokes springtime!  We feel  tempted to wear this on St. Patrick’s Day and demand people kiss us!

Kidding aside we are delighted to have a lovely green bra. This isn’t an every-day run-of-the-mill colour. This unique shade of lace and detailing with high end finishes speaks to the quality and upscale craftsmanship of Empreinte.

Chantelle Cachemire is a like a sassy businesswoman in pinstripes. With tone-on-tone vertical stripes on the lower portion and pretty lace details on the upper cup, this might just become your everyday bra.  This is the black bra that will take you from day to evening, just like a great black blazer.

Below we pair it with two fab skirt suits and how we imagine we might wear these from day-to-night. The addition of a pretty scarf and some vivid red lips takes these office-appropriate looks and makes them ready for a night on the town. February is traditionally a not-very-fun month. It is grey and dreary and falls squarely between the post-holiday blues and the yay-it-is-spring-happy’s. With only Valentine’s day to break this up, we’re happy to report that in our month we’ve also added Dead Bra Day. Even the government has stepped up and given us a long weekend! Suddenly it seems the  month has improved.

Not all of us love Valentine’s day. But for those of us in love (especially, it seems in a new love) it is a great holiday that brings excitement and… titillation!

In that spirit this post features some of our less-serious, more-fun, non-everyday items that you will enjoy during this festive season!

Nippies by Bristols6 are sometimes worn for practical reasons but these fun heart-shaped versions made in rawr-worthy leopard print and ravishing red velvet would be an awesome after-dinner surprise. This line, which debuted in 2007, had a big break when Britney Spears’ stylist ordered a number of items to clothe the star and dancers for the Circus tour. The items are a blend of luxury lingerie, ready-to-wear fashion styling and a heavy dash of erotic S&M inspired styling.

This past weekend some of our product was featured in the Globe and Mail style section! Touting the fashion-forward look of brights (ahem, we’ve been talking about that for months) as an option instead of traditional red and black, the article highlighted a number of fun options and colours to choose from.
