Storage

Here are a few tips of the trade to keep your bras in the best shape possible for the longest period of time.

Unlined bras…

It is best to do the back hooks up and fold them neatly in the drawer. You may hang them from a hanger in the closet or off a doorknob. It is better to hang bras from both straps. For traveling, bras can be neatly stacked with hooks done up and stored in a mesh hosiery bag or the like.

Lined T-Shirt bras…

Lined t-shirt should be stacked one on top of the other, sunny side up. DO NOT FOLD ONE CUP INTO THE OTHER. This kind of habit encourages small wrinkles in the cup to develop. These lines may eventually show through clothing. The exception is the plunge cut bra. When there is little or no wire between the two cups, bras may be twisted and the good side may sit in the under side of the other cup.

If you are blessed with a wonderful closet or are drawer space challenged, you may also opt to hang your bras.

When traveling, t-shirt bras can be worn or stored inside a Tupperware container to prevent the bra from being squished. Only at this time would it be ok to fold one cup into the other. It is a good idea to line your drawer if you have lacey bras. This will ensure that nothing will catch and pull the lace. Some women like to put a scent pack in their drawer to add a lovely smell to their bras.
